TEAM LOOKING TO GRAB THE BRASS RING AT VIR

April 23, 2008; Bradenton, Fla...Looking to grab the brass ring, Team RightsForBikers.com are making their way to Virginia International Raceway and Round 2 of the SunTrust MOTO-ST Series, April 27.

“We are definitely ready for a win,” says team owner and well-known Florida attorney C.J. Czaia. “VIR is a spectacular track and a great place to race. Last year, despite an accident, we earned our first Podium finish at this track. If things go smoothly, we should definitely be able to grab the brass ring.”

Competing in both the Buell Motorcycle Company SuperSport Twins class (SST) and in BMW GrandSport Twins class (GST), Team RightsForBikers.com will field Justin Filice and Rodolfo Ramirez aboard a Suzuki SV1000 in SST and Floridians John Linder and Jason Edmonds on a Ducati PS1000LE in the GST class.

Ramirez, who hails from Venezuela is new to the team this season. He has been racing in Florida for the past six years. In 2007 he ran actually his own team, Team Florida, in the SunTrust MOTO-ST Series and showed the fans that despite a multitude of problems and lack of funds they were one of the top teams in the series.

“I think we can do well in the SST class with Filice and Ramirez aboard,” says Czaia. “One of the things they have going for them is that they are both lightweight and that is a definite plus with the Suzuki SV1000. We scored a fifth place in SST at VIR last year and would really like to better this time out.”

While Ramirez raced at VIR last year, this event will mark the first time Filice has run the entire course. “I’m excited,” says the native Californian. “It is an outstanding track and I can’t wait to take some laps. Naturally, my dad has given me some pointers and with a little practice I should have it dialed.”

Equally as determined are Linder and Edmonds. “We are ready for another top finish,” they both echo. “The crew has been working double time to make sure our bikes are in top shape and they know what it takes. We have one of the best crews in the series and they want to win as much as we do. This will also be the first race with timed qualifying and that will really make a difference. It will be good for us and for the fans. We are ready to go.”
